We work with hundreds of different products and finishes including stains and paints. Choosing between stained or painted furniture largely depends on personal preference, but one should also consider how the piece is going to be used.
Stained furniture allows the natural beauty of the wood to shine through and is a great way to showcase the wood's natural grain and color. Stains come in a wide range of colors, and we can make just about any color stain a client wants. Often, we see clients choose stains when they have a firm design or space in mind.
Painted furniture can come in an even wider range of colors and can be in any sheen desired including matte or even high-gloss. Painted pieces can add a fun pop of color to a space or can be a more neutral color that easily transitions with a space over time.
In the end, choosing between stained or painted pieces is a personal choice based on the look our clients are trying to achieve. If you are unsure of what style to choose, we are happy to send stain samples for you to choose from. Contact our office for questions about your piece’s finish.
